OUR FEATURE IN THE “JOBS” SECTION OF THE HONOLULU STAR-ADVERTISER
Mahalo to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and writer Karen Iwamoto for the wonderful profile and interview in the “Jobs” section!
Not only is it exciting to get the word out about our store’s mission and history, but it’s always good to remind pet parents that healthy pet food isn’t only for the elite.
From the article, talking with our owner/founder Alli:
One of the ways Calvin & Susie has gained customer loyalty has been by stocking nutritious pet foods at multiple price points.
“We realize that quality pet food is more expensive,” she said.
“So we try to provide food at the $10-, $60-price points so there’s something for everyone.
“I tell people that whether they pay $100 for bags of food or $50 for bags of food over the years, if the food is filled with filler, you will ‘pay’ for it later,” she added. “Also, with quality food, you need less of it to fill up your pet.”
